不同公共房屋設計怎樣影響人的生活模式?

7層共屋時代，人與人之間的關係緊密些，鄰里會互相照應，但由於空間狹小，有些設施要共用，有時衝突也多了。私隠方面的要求也較少。大家會在衝突中尋求共存模式。故三代同堂的家庭模式仍較常見。
進入共屋時代，經濟起飛，家庭要求有基本獨立設施，但仍保留部份7層的生活模式，私隠方面要求高了，鄰里隔膜多了，但睦鄰關係仍某程度上保留，因家家戶戶多保留關閘但開門的習慣。
公屋/居屋，人際關係漸疏離，每家有高度的私隠要求。設施也非常完備。
而且由於經濟及家庭結構改變，公屋及居屋設計漸漸以小家庭為模式，面積較小。(互相影響，由於面積小，三代同堂的情況也減少)
