What do you do to get rid of hemmorhoids?

I've had hemmorhoids for a long time now possibly the same one. I tried eating more fiber (as suggested by doctor) and waiting for it to go away. I've tried external ointments and I've tried to drink more water as well trying avoid using any force during bowel movements. However nothing has completely gotten rid of it. The only thing that has happened is that there is little to no pain during bowel movements. There a small butt very noticeable lump on the anal opening and I really just want to be over and done with it. Please, please help me this is driving me mad.

some people have to have surgery to remove them.try taking sitz baths then.... in the drugstores they sell these items that are thin and narrow cones that you put in the freezer after which you insert to reduce the swelling...tucks medicated pads wrapped over a small ice bag also helps and also use preparation H after doing these things..if all else fails go to a proctologist who will help you further .................ps had to make an extra comment after reading some posts i have had hemmoroids during 3 pregnancies and 1 time after and they were very very painful. I never had surgery and they went away completely with the treatments I specified above...and yes changes to your diet can be beneficial in lessening your strain or pressure on the outer area. make sure you get fiber from metamucil or something similar and stay away from laxatives. Surgery is a last resort after everything else fails. Try what I have said and give it about a week...even though you will feel immediate relief. For other posters these are not regular sores or lesions they are bulging of veins in the rectum and not excess skin. That is why certain treatments can make them go away. sometimes people can have something called a rectal prolapse which can cause hemmoroids and bowel relieving discomfort.

to get rid of it completely you need surgery.............it is the MOST painful surgery of all as they are gonna cut off a piece of your @$$hole. I have like 5 lumps and I'd rather deal with my outie butt hole than sitting on that inflatable donut for 6 weeks.

Go to the doctors and ask for a cream, or if u r too Embarrassed to do this, check what creams are available without a prescrition n go and buy them from the pharmacy, or if worst comes to worst order them online(make sure u use a reliable web-site). Ordering online will take some time to deliver n it seems like u under pressure to get rid of them as quick as possible. So just go to the pharmacy... Good luck in ur exams as well

Hemorrhoids are associated with constipation and straining at bowel movements. How to get rid of hemorrhoids https://tr.im/jO8nX
Pregnancy is also associated with hemorrhoids. These conditions lead to increased pressure within the hemorrhoidal veins that causes them to swell. Other conditions, for example chronic liver disease, may also cause increased venous pressure and may be associated with hemorrhoids. Hemorrhoids are very common and are estimated to occur in up to one-half of the population by age 50.

There are several methods availalbe. Surgical excision is one of them. It is a bit uncomfortable for awhile but should heal nicely. A second approach is to use a stool softner such as metamucil and being careful with your diet. The third method is simple and simply uses a vitamin called Rutin. It is available as an OTC drug and is found in many vitamin compounds. It is manufactured in Switzerland under the name "Varemoid" and is extremely useful. I don't believe it is availabe in America but if friends travel to Europe or Asia...perhaps even Canada, have them buy the brand name product for you. You only need to take the medication for a few days for total relief. However, if the rutin is in a combination vitamin, be careful of the vitamin A and vitamin D contents and do not overdose. I am out of touch with the names of the various companies that supply vitamins but they probably have a tablet that contains only rutin...you can not overdose on it...and the effects will depend on how much you take. Warm baths...actually soaking will relieve some of the discomfort. A hemorrhoid is simply a blood vessel that is too superficial in the tissue, becomes abraded and bleeds, itchy and annoying. I suggest trying the rutin first, and if it fails to give good results you can opt for surgical removal.

You cannot get "rid" of themby using any "products" or eating differently . You can treat the symptoms and use things to make yourself more comfy but surgery is the only permanent removal, and then you will probably get more.

There is no cure, just relief. Talk to your Dr, if its really bad, maybe they will do surgery to remove excess tissue.

sweetie I hate to tell you this, but I think the only sure fire way to truly get rid of them is surgery. I suffer too as a result of childbirth (3 kids) and I know there are ways to minimize the discomfort but the only to rid them is surgery..I can be wrong, you should try and google it.

Well there is a thing called colonix that is sold online from drnatura. Its really good for helping problems like IBS, it cleans your colon out... I dont know much about hemorhoids but I do know if its something inside you causing this, Colonix will flush it all out. and it makes it much easier on the bowel movements. It really works! try it:)

See a doctor about having it removed surgically.
