tenses

(Use preposition to after want.)

(No need to change the verb after please eg Please help me.)

(No need to change the verb after dare. eg She dare not do it.)

(Past perfect tense is used to show action that happened in the past before another action happened.
Tips: when you see the word before and also past tense, the other tense is always past perfect tense.)

`Little boy, dont be afraid . I ___will teach__(teach) you how to be a magician,said the stranger.
(Use future tense to show action that will happen in the future. ie in this sentence, the crazy man is not going to teach him now but later, so use future tense.)

Then Calvin saw a policeman . so he shouted loudly,Help! The crazy man ___is running__(run) after me .
(Present continous tense for action happens now.)
