( 1.) A= a+b/2 or, a+b/2= A or, a= A- b/2 (2.) R=s/t or, Rt=s (multiplying both sides by t or by cross-multiplication) or, t=s/R (dividing both sides by R )

1. subtract a from both sides then subtract A from both sides then multiply both sides by -1.

2. multiply both sides by t then divide both sides by R

Hope this helps

A=a+b/2
a+b/2=A
a=A-b/2

R=s/t
s/t=R/1
s x 1=t x r
s=t x r
r x t =s
r=s/t

1. A-b/2 = a

2. S(R)= T

solve by reversing what is the letter is doing that your solving for.

A= a+b/2
a= A-b/2
