How to improve my listening?

I find the following useful at the time when I study:
1. Watch TV News Report
(Since the video will help you understand what the reporters are talking about. It is easier to start with. You may find reading newspaper before watching TV News Report to be more useful. It helps equip you with the vocabulary before listening to it.)
2. Listen to English Songs
(Search for the lyrics. Listen to the music and read the lyrics at the same time. It is even better if you are listening to 70s or 80s oldies.)
3. Watch Film with English Subtitle
(Read the subtitle while you are watching the film. It help you to tune into the way how people talk in English.)

Furthermore, make sure you enjoy the practice and get entertainment from it. It can help you maintain a continuous effort which is necessary for improvement.
