angiosperms = flowering flower ??

i don wt know what is the difference btw angiosperms and flowering plants !!
please tell me, thx...

the word ' angiosperms' has the same meaning with the words 'flowering plants'
however , 'angiosperms' is in a biological used, while 'flowering plants ' is in a common used. in the lower form examination, i think both can be accepted, but when you are in a higher level , i think you would better used the word' angiosperms' .

Angiospermae(n.pl.)
flowering plants. A division of the Speamatophyta which includes the dominant plants on land. They are highly differentiated and have microsporophylls and megasporophylls combines into true flowers as staments and carpels.
