請問杜拜近年已完成及未完成的project 包括甚麼，詳情又是如何?

The World Islands will be located 4 kilometers off the shore of Jumeirah, close to the Palm Jumeirah. between Burj Al Arab and Port Rashid at approximately 25°13 North and 55°10 East. Each island will be sold to selected private developers and are expected to have pricing beginning at AED 25 million (US$ 6.85 million), for the AED 6.6 billion (US$ 1.8 billion) project. Individuals who have purchased islands in The World Islands include Sir Richard Branson (Great Britain).

Oqyana-World
Oqyana will comprise of 19 islands of The World, covering the islands of Australasia (Australia and New Zealand). It was named after the Arabic word for Oceanic and is a project by Kuwait-based Investment Dar, expected to be complete by 2012. Oqyana will cover a total area of 1.87 million square meters (20 million square feet), with a total onland area of 417 thousand square meters (4.5 million square feet). It will comprise of more than 1,650 sea-view apartments and mansions, 90 water homes, about 170 canal homes, a marina with over 1,500 private yacht berths, and two high-end hotels, including a spa resort. Oqyana is being developed at a cost of US$ 3.5 billion by Investment Dar and was masterplanned by Australian-based Woods Bagot.

The Palm Islands -
Palm Jumeirah is the smallest, Construction began on the Palm Jumeirah island in June 2001. Keys to owners of 1,350 homes on 30Nov. Less than half of the island's construction will be finished. The project won't be done until nearly 2010
Palm Jebel Ali, Construction began on the Palm Jebel Ali in October 2002.
Palm Deira, The Deira Palm island was not initially intended to be developed, but on October 2004, the annoucement of its development was issued.

Dubai Marina has been referred to as the world's largest man-made marina and is amongst the world's largest master planned waterfront development. When I was there in March this year, basic(or outlook) of the buildings are finished. It only takes time for the facilities, windows, plantations and so on...

very slow for road expansion like the Jemeirah Beach Road...7 months, they still cannot finished...BUT I appreciate, we have to thanks for the construction workers from India, Pakistanian and so on... It is TOUGH for them to work for DUBAI...
