甚麼叫Ice-breaking?

ice-breaking即破冰

如果係orientation時講ice-breaking, 即係打破大家既隔膜既意思。通常會自己介紹自己, 等大家熱下身, 然後玩團體遊戲, 等大家熟落下咁。例如俾好多飲桶你, 叫你地一組人一齊做個模型出來, 咁你地就要大家商量下, 一齊落手做, 當中又會預到失敗, 到大家一齊做到時就會好開心。從中大家會對個別組員有初步瞭解, 會開始熟落。

意思是使關系出現良的穾破.

可以指人與人的關系或事情的發展. 用於後者時通常是指事情本已陷入彊局, 但穾然出現了轉機.

As far as I know, I do not know of Ice-breaking game in an orientation course. Maybe there is, I suppose. Maybe just simply breaking ice.

To me, it is just a term used to describe the event of:
When two or more person, are quiet, strangers on the first day of class or orientation course, not on speaking terms, etc
and someone suddenly say Hello or something to the other person, therefore breaking the silence.
This can also be known as ( Break the ice)
