how to get hong kong resident but no need to stay in hk

im a hong kong permanent resident, if my child borned aboard ,will he become a hk resident no need to stay 7years??or can he apply for residency but will not stay in hong kong???by the way if im not married to his mother

yes, he can become a hk resident, i applied for my baby before
