Lord of the Rings fellowship of the ring 個 ending

It is sad to see that Gandalf fell with the the balrog and Boromir was killed. I felt so sad when seeing Gandalf fell down. I almost thought that he would be gone forever. Lucky that he was back in Book 2. As for Boromir, he was always tempted to take the ring from Frodo. He later killed by orcs when defending Merry and Pippin. It was sad to see him got killed this way, but it has also made him a hero!
Frodo and Sam were splited from the group and headed east by themselves. And the rest was trying to look for them.
Personally, I like the story ends this way. Althought this is the end of the first triology, it is the start of the second one. I will not make any changes to the ending as I think it is PERFECT right now.
