General Information on British National (Overseas) Passport
Location:
The entrance to the BN(O) Passport Section is located on Justice Drive.
How to make an application:
We are open for accepting applications from 08.45 to 15.00 Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.
When submitting an application you will need to bring:
The completed application form (click here to download passport application form)
Your Hong Kong Permanent Identity Card
Your current BN(O) Passport
Two photographs (taken within last month on a WHITE background) Samples of passport photographs (PDF, 1.6M)
The appropriate fee (please refer to the Passport Fees page)
Completed passports can be returned to you by courier (fee HK$25) or collected in person from 08.45 to 16.30, Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.
How to minimise waiting time:
Please note that the demand for passports is seasonal. Our busiest periods tend to be during the summer and school holidays. Therefore to minimise waiting time and obtain a faster service we recommend that you apply outside these periods.
