well, it all depends on where you live. personally, i worked at PetSmart and went to their grooming school. its only a month long and they teach you the basics of grooming. but there is a really great grooming school nearby (in michigan) called Paragon. theyre a little on the costly side but you will learn so much more; more techniques and tricks. im pretty sure there are Paragons around the country so maybe you can look them up online? grooming is a great business to be in; plenty of money to be made if you know where to work. but it can also be a very stressful and sometimes harmful job. there are a few health risks involved (as with any other job) but its also very rewarding. and if you love animals, then its a wonderful career to consider.
