Why is Christina Aguilera called Xtina?

cuz X is like chris.....christmas=Xmas............and Christina =Xtina

Xtina is Christina's "alter ego." She portrays her when expressing her sexualized image. She debut the persona during her Stripped era. It's also a play on of her name X = Christ (such as Xmas)
Xtina = Chris + Tina = Christina

This is a nickname she gave herself.She said it represents her naughty side.She has the name X-Tina tattooed on the back of her neck.

She was called Xtina because in her album called 'Stripped" she bore it all and showed another side of her.The stripped part showed the x-rated part.

because X is the symbol for Christ

Kinda like Christmas being called xmas.

Tina is short for Christina and she has more or less been X rated since she came out (and thats no complaint)

I read it off somewhere in an old interview that her friend saw the relationship between Christmas and X'mas, since "christ" is X'ed, so she became Xtina

I dont know why, but X stands for Christ like with XMas being Christmas.... So there's Xtina. She probably just thinks its cool.
