It means he's gonna be with you until something he thinks is better comes along.
You should not be clingy & needy and let him go before that happens.

Sorry to say this but it sound like he wants to dump you but he does not have the hart to do so!!! Leave him and keep your integrity!!! There's no use in having a relationship when both of you don't feel the same! Good luck!

It means that he's not happy with you but he's staying with you! He's trying to let you know that there're something wrong between you and him and I think it is important to find out what that is. He's still staying with you means at least for the time being he is. But don't be too optimistic in the long terms as he might leave you easily since he finds problems between you and him.

It could mean that there are things about you he doesn't like, but he will put up with them, because he likes you. Or it could mean that he keep you around until he can find another girlfriend.
