2) Given side, angle, side (SAS): (1/2) ab x sinθ, in which a is one side, b is another side, and θ is the known angle.

3) Given three sides: when s = (a + b + c)/2 (Heron's formula), in which a, b, and c represent the three sides.

If you have a height::
A = (1/2)b*h

If you don't know the height:
K = (ac Sin B)/2
Where K is the area.
a and c are the lengths of any two sides
and B is the included angle of the two sides

Area of a triangle Formula

A = 1/2 bh

b = Base

H = Height

it is base times height divided by two
basexheight/2
find the base. the longest side. then the height from the middle. multiply them together and then divide it by 2

1/2 * base * height but that might only work for an isosceles (sp?) triangle...

base x 1/2 height

Area = Base x Altitude(or height) /2
