2A = h (b1 + b2)
2A/h = b1 + b2 <--divide by h
(2A/h) - b2 = b1 <--Subtract b2

c/32

x² = x+6 x² - x - 6 = 0 (x - 3)(x + 2) = 0 So x = 3 or - 2 x² + 2x = 0 x(x + 2) = 0 So x = 0 or - 2 60 = x² - 4x x²- 4x - 60 = 0 (x - 10)(x + 6) = 0 So x = 10 or -6 4x = x² - 40 5 x² - 4x - 40 5 = 0 (x - 9)(x + 5) = 0 So x = 9 or -5 -6x = x² + 9 x² + 6x + 9 = 0 (x + 3)(x + 3) = 0 (x + 3)² = 0 So x = -3 -15=x² + 8x x² + 8x +15 = 0 (x + 5)(x + 3) = 0 So x = -5 or -3 -9x = x² + 14 x² + 9x + 14 = 0 (x + 7)(x + 2) = 0 So x = -7 or - 2 desire that enables. =D

first divide both sides by h
2A/h=b1+b2
then subtract b2 from both sides
2A/h - b2 = b1

on the tomatoes problem is there anymore info?

2A = h(b1+b2)
2A/h = b1+b2
2A/h - b2 = b1
