involved with someone who is selfish?

I am involved with someone like that. I'm really struggling to deal with it and think that the time will come when I can't handle it anymore. Maybe we just need to accept that this is how the people are and we should move on sooner rather than later?

I spent 7 and a 1/2 years with a selfish woman. She rarely put me first, broke promises when it was time to fulfill them, always had an excuse for why she didn't come through.
I.E., no divorce when she said she would get one. I met her AFTER he left her. No apartment together after I got one for us.
I did what I said I was going to do when it was time.

She just kept pulling and pulling me to the point where the relationship was all about her and not us.

Then one her adult kids said I wasn't committed to her after I found out she was cheating on me. I knew before they did and they live with her.

Btw her husband of 20 years left her AND the kids and never came back. Must be her, over 27 years of her life and she can't keep a man around.

if its bothering you this much now you should try and discuss and sought it out before the relationship ends badly.

follow your heart. if her selfishness bothers you that much you should move on.

move on. Selfishness will kill the relationship eventually.

just move on...
