How do u deal with a negative person u live with?

If his negativity is really getting on your t its, get on his by being extra extra happy, smiley and positive around him all the time.
When he annoys you by saying something really down, compliment him with a big smile and constantly give him positive remarks about whatever it is he is moaning about.
It will annoy the hell out of him and perhaps with a bit of luck show him sarcastically just how boring his negative attitude is and it will show it up extremely. Let him know that it is just plain tedious and the more he does it, the more it makes him into a drab, annoying individual that warrants no attention.
Lean into his face real close and say 'have a nice day, wont you' instead of responding to his pessimism

Try to look at their point of view and as to why they have negative issues, try to put your positivity across if this still doesn't work try maybe meeting them half way good luck xx

I believe what you put out is what you get back, and most negative people seem to attract a lot of negative results. Since you have no control over them, try to surround yourself with as many possitive people as you can. This way , you can remain possitive, and downplay their negative to the least you have to tolerate.

Its not easy and takes time and lots of love
to inspire them to think positive and change
into positive person .

Unfortunately total transformation chances are
Very low but you can still give it a try if the person worth
a world to you.

chances are even lesser if the person is your dad
or mom. Its hard change them.

Well i dont Live wit my boy at the moment but he is really Negative but got some mad circumstance so.. Just try explain it to him but if he doesnt listen just Leave him alone until he tries to speak to you and pretend your not interested it will annoy him n he will come round my man dos it all the time but jus be persistant

I used to live with a very pessimistic person, and that annoyed me a lot. I dunno if what I did was the right thing to do, but every time the person had something negative to say, I would answer,

"You're always complaining, and grunting about this and that. Why don't you just stop it and for once look at the bright side of things. If you want to drown yourself in your negativeness, that's you're problem. Just don't be negative around me cuz I don't want to be as miserable and unhappy as you are. Go be pessimistic in your own bush."
I only see this person once in a while now, but at least she knows not to be negative around me!
Thing is...if someone's attitude affects you, you should tell him/her about it as soon as possible. If you let it go by it'll only get worse!

My husband is a major pessimist. If he is negative toward my daughter or me then I let him know how it makes me feel. Other than that, I just try to point out the positive things about a situation or a person. (I try limit my comments because sometimes he just gets annoyed.) Sometimes people just don't realize they are being negative. Try talking to that person about it. Let them know how you feel. Show them that you care about them and that you are concerned about their approach to life.

Maybe things have gone all in the negative direction in his life, and that's all he knows. Sometimes a person in such a situation cannot dig himself out of this emotional hole. Do what you can to encourage him to be more optimistic.

Wow, I know how that is. Deal with them? Screw um' totally ignore them or do everything opposite from what they say, make sure the decisions you make are good ones for you and not for anyone else.

Negative people get no where in life.
