There is no other "kung fu". Maybe you ment "martial arts"...
Considering Kung Fu actually means 'hard work' you decide. Yep the term can be used for teachers teaching chinese or history and they can be said to have good 'kungfu' FACT
Kungfu can also be said as Gong-Fu or Gung-fu it pretty much means the same thing. The martial art aspect of the term all started when the Indian monk saw that the Shaolin buddhist monks needed meditation etc to help keep their bodies strong. If you look at Egypt as the cradle of civilisation THEN Greece Also please look at India as the cradle of martial arts THEN China
What you should ask is which Wu-SHu is the best? This term enspsulates all Chinese Martial arts from internal/soft Hsing Xi boxing to the specialised external/hard Bak Mei aka White eyebrow Kungfu (Tiger/Leopard mix style) in Chinese styles but then you have Muay Thai (Thailand) or Eskrima (Filipino) and Kempo (Japanese) but they dont call them Kung-Fu or anything like that for example Japanese say Bujutsu or Budo, different dont you agree?
As for which is best? Well that depends on how you view it! You should remember that some styles are better for different physique builds. Some styles incoporate meditation, some focus on detroying the assailant whilst others focus on immobolising the assailant. When you discover what it is you want out of the art then you will find your 'best' one

Only good kung fu is San Shou and that is as long as they train hard.
The biggest problem with most kung fu is their akward stance and technique. Many of its are useless for anything but show.
All Chinese Kung-Fu is lumped together under the name Kung-Fu or Gung-Fu. There are different styles within that Martial art.
"other kung fu" is too vauge.

1. Kung fu isn't a martial art; it's the generic term 'martial arts' in Chinese.
2. No language outside of Chinese uses the term 'kung fu.'
3. As lame as it is for people to say that one art is better than another? It's even lamer for them to say that one country's arts are better than another's.

No, there isn't, Rob. The term is used in reference to... pretty much any Chinese art. So yes, you will see many arts called 'kung fu.' But it's not the proper name of any. What you're saying is the rough English equal to saying, "Yes, there's a martial art called Martial Art."
Trace back any art simply called 'Kung Fu' and you'll find a more personal name somewhere at the start of the lineage. There are too numerous of similar examples in Japanese arts (Iaido, for example, has MANY properly named variants, which are more commonly simply referred to as 'Iaido,' as well [although that IS an art of its own, as well], such as Muso Jikiden Eishin-ryu) to even begin to describe.

chinese kung fu i learn it!
There is no other kung fu, it's a chinese art and there are hundred of variations. There are other martial arts, but not other kung fu.
What do you mean by "the best"? "The best" in terms of beating everyone, or in terms of "the best" for your own enjoyment?
Even though, there are at least dozens of main categories in "Chinese Kung Ku", and millions of branches under each category. Same as the "other kung fu".
In my opinion, anything you like is "The Best".
I dont know how much people think that one martial art is better than the other buecause the martial art dont make you you make the martial art. When you are going to compromise yourself with an art you should think in someting you like ande feel happy when doing it, so by tht way you cam keep practicing and makin yourself a better matial artist cause your are enjoing your self as well as the art is getting inside of you. It doesnt matter if it is tea kwon do,Choi li fu, tai chi, karate or any other art wath matters is that you enjoi it then it become one with you then it is the best martial art ever(for your own spirit and body) than you have become a real master of life by finding somethin that fullfil your heart, body and soul
