Blood Clotting I believe you mean "K" factor is a very important compound in this VERY complex process.

fibrinogen is one of the element which causes blood clotting. but there are still 18 more constituents which are required for blood clotting. absence of any of these elements...... may cause trouble............

there are several factors... but if you mean a specific chemical element.... Calcium plays a critical role.
