When asking questions in the ENGLlSH language section of Y!Answers, wouldn't be good to choose a region first?

Wouldn't be good, in order to ask a question in the ENGLlSH language section of Yahoo Answers, you had to choose a region first? And I don't mean choosing countries(the little flags down there) but rather regions like "Europe", "N. America", "Australia" and such...The reason I'm asking this is--without having no prejudice at all against anybody-- I have noticed an "attitude" from some American friends: when they post their questions they act as if the internet is all American. Of course Yahoo is American the language is English, the servers are in the U.S.A but how about the users?
Another approach would be, I think, for Yahoo answers to put some radio buttons for askers to choose like a "general interest", "American interest" button before asking...

That is a good suggestion for the Answer team. Click on the forum link on the top right corner and make a suggestion to the team.

But saying that, I think most of the users are native English speakers.

I'm not from America (I'm from Taiwan) but I value everyone's questions and answers, including the Americans'.

Plus, hearing from people around the world will broaden the Americans' world view, so it's all for the best in the end.
