How do you stop yourself from loving someone if you know you can't?

its hard to control ya feelings for someone that doesn't love you. ya probably do anything for them.. yet they don't love ya or realize ya crush.. SNAP OUT OF IT! you'll find your true love. don't waste ya energy and time of him. he probably already knows. if he hasn't realized yet, than knock him over with bat.. he'll get the clue.. Dang .. i am batteling with that same ? and have been for about 6 months now .. darlin ..I have come to find you can find someone completly wrong for you in soo many ways but if you heart cares for them there is nothing anyone or anything can change that . you cant stop breathing right .. well just like when you love someone you cant stop your heart from feeling somethinmg.I know it is hard .. but really babi girl .. all you really can do is try to think of other things and focus more on your friends work .. stay busy do whatever you have to do .. to stop yourself from thinking about that person 24/7 because i know how bad it really hurts to care so much for someone you know you shouldnt .. in time you will heal i can promise you sweetie

You can if you put your mind to it. Lose contact, change numbers, delete numbers, change e-mails do whatever you have to do. In a few weeks you'll get your strength back and be over him. focus on all the negative reasons you guys broke up this will help you be done with him.

STOP focusing on this "forbidden person" . Read a book. Learn to crochet. go for a walk (but not in the "forbidden person"'s neighborhood)

stop glorifying the situations, start blocking your mind from going there and throw your energy into something else.
