Who as messager?!?

I'm 17 but I have trouble understanding your question...

Whoa, one year sure makes a lot of difference in the ability of perception! My brain's not as lively as you young'uns'... maybe that's why they say you'd better learn languages when you're younger...

Or are "messager" and this particular use of "as" some neologistic constructions of the current middle school generation? I don't know... does it have the same meaning as "who has messenger" in *our* generation?
