poor you, no answers... but i searched for "taiwan" in open questions, so here i am!!
well, no i don't listen to the english language programming but that's because i'm chinese, and find the chinese programming more...comprehensive, should i say.
actually, i prefer radio programming from ZHONGGUANG which is the radio station of taiwan's opposition political party, the Kuomintang. it's not on shortwave though, so if you're not in taiwan, you probably can only get it on the internet.
note: ZHONGGUANG's english name is the "broadcasting corporation of china" but it is NOT a people's republic of china station. it's called "broadcasting corporation of china" because it was *originally* on china before the kuomintang government brought it to taiwan in 1949 when it was defeated by the communists. the communists' radio stations are "chinese people's radio" and "radio china international" which are just silly propaganda.
