I heard the best time to get pregnant is b4 & after ur cycle. Is that true? And whats the possibility that I can be pregnant? This happened about 2 weeks ago. Please help me ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!

You might be in trouble. Go see your doctor immediately and take a in home pregnancy test.Don't use info from the internet for something this serious, just call your doctor and give specific details.

Yes that is true. Go get a EPT test. It is the most accurate and shows early signs of pregnancy...

This is my standard answer......... go get a book called Taking Charge of your fertility by Toni Weschler. It will help you understand your body and all the myths about it. It will help you time when you are ovulating and the best times to conceive. My Doctor recommended it to me and after 1 year of trying I got the book. It worked the very next month. It turns out that my timing was wrong due to mis-information. I hope it helps you, too! It's not only about getting pregnant. It's about knowing your body and knowing when you are fertile or not. You can pick and choose what you do with your info. Good luck and don't listen the all the myths!

That is true!!! You need to go to a doctor ASAP because there is a good chance you could be pregnant. After your cycle is the BEST time to get pregnant.

you can get pregnant only once a month 14 days from the day your period starts there is a 48 hour opportunity for this two happen so go back and calculate when you started and when you had sex if the numbers add up and your next cycle doesn't come well, I'd start with a home ept test then consult your doctor

better if you consult the doctor, I really dont believe on before and after the cycle, it depends on your body, What you mean is called rythm or calendar method. My sis got pregnant because of that, you cant tell when you will be ovulating. there will be a posibility that you will be pregy

if you cycle every 28 days, then 2-3 days before your 14 day spot is critical.

That's a tough question. Anyways, it depends if you are in a regular or irregular cycle. Sometimes, calendar method fails. If the condom break and it spilled sperms inside you, it is possible for you to get pregnant ONLY if you have a fertilized egg by that time.
I think the best thing you can do is see an Ob-Gyne. They can check if you are fertile or not by that time. Don't be scared.
Your only problem is you have to wait for 28 days to before you take a pregnancy test. Once you are positive, I hope you won't do anything stupid like aborting your baby. Please. If ever you are negative in pregnancy, I suggest that you should be careful next time.
Always remember, once you engaged in sex there are only 2 possible things you should consider in your mind.

It can depends on if u had sex the day right after your period or a few days later....Your egg might not be developed right after your cycle. It takes a few days, I believe....Since it have been 2 weeks, you can absolutely do a in home test for safety...

That actually is not true. Your cycle on average is about 28 days, and the best time to get pregnant is day 14 which is when you ovulate. Right before and right after your period are bad times to get pregnant, so I wouldn't worry. But to make yourself feel better and since its been two weeks take a home pregnancy test, I am willing to bet it's negative.
