when and where do Indian purchase and consume wine?

Do Indian drink wines more at home or in resturant. Do they perfer buying wine as a gift for friends? or will they purchase wine for cooking?

It is mostly at parties or restaurants that indians will drink wine. Only indians from the supposedly "high-class society" will gift their frnds wine. No they very rarely purchase wine for cooking.

Most of the Indians I've ever met only sell the wine!
