Can any one tell me how to have a friendship with an unknown person?

We can make a friendship with a unknown person by knowing them. No other way i think. Thank You.

well just talk to them and then they wont be UNKNOWN anymore.

come up to them and pretty much just be like "Hey! My name is Blah-Blah-Blah! What's your name?"

yeah, to me, it was always that simple.

get to know them through email or instant message . Chat with them for awhile and then start a telephone conversation. When you become comfortable then arrange a coffee date or an lunch date , make sure its in a place where there are a lot of people around . good luck
