i had a friend that had not taken a language class in highschool so she went to college and had to take a language class. she said the easiest is sign language because it is universal. that was surprising for me. it is pretty east to remember. have a good day
Hello! I born French in Quebec, Canada... i tried to learn english, spanish, portuguese, japanese, modern greek, old latin, dutch, german, esperanto, italian. And the easiest, fastest, most enjoyable and nice by sounds like singing "songs" when talking had been SPANISH for sure!! Try some... I don't really think you can just select one language as the easiest to learn. It largely depends on:
-what your mother language is (if you are French it will probably be much easier to learn German than learn Japanese, but the situation may be different if you are a Thai,for instance)
-when you learn the language (the younger you are, the easier it is)
-and where you live while you are learning it. (It should be easier to learn Spanish in Spain,Mexico or Texas than in Japan)
Also you should bear in mind that the more languages you learn, the easier it gets to learn another one because you learn how to learn a language. So if you start with German, say, you may have a real hard time at first, then moving on to French will be easier and then learning Spanish will be even more easy. After this, you can't say that Spanish is the easiest among these 3 languages, for instance.
