How does the price of a barrel of oil reflect on gas?

I know that if the price of a barrell of oil increases so does gas but how so? How is it broken down, example a barrel of oil hits $100 dollars whats the price of gas?

No special reason, just because when the price or oil raise,everone go to buy gas so the price of the gas will raise either.
