No..I dont think it is a good idea, they could get lost around the house and their little hearts might not be able to take all the excitement..as long as there is a wheel thats fine.
You should take them up. How would you feel if you get couped up in your cage for your whole life?
You dont have to worry about them getting lost if your hamster is supervised.
An exercise ball is good too, but it'd be better if they can actually walk around without something between them.
Only let your hamster out if you can handle them. If they're not tamed, its not advisable.
But if the area you're gonna let them out to is safe (no small spaces, holes, sharp items etc), thats ok. Only if you can transport hammy back to its cage.
Get hammy tamed so you can enjoy being a hamster owner and you can keep hammy happy.
Make sure there arent any other pets around the hse if you do let hammy out.
I would, they need attention and handling to stay friendly. Also would you want to stay in a cage 24/7. You can get a plastic hamster ball to let them run around in.
yes you can let a hamster out if its cage.if you don't it will not know you as well because it is not use to your touch.don't takr it out 2 often because if the cage door gets loose your hamster will escape!!
you don't have to, as long as you give him a wheel, but they're so cool to watch if you get them a ball, they go so fast, and slam right into the walls and stuff...and if you don't want him to bite, you should hold him at least a few minutes a day...
they make a plastic ball u can put them in to run around in, my son has one,he lets his run around alot,i think its good to take them out of the cage regurly so they dont feel couped up all the time.
