If you're referring to the Blue Hope Diamond, I would give it to the Smithsonian Institution in Washington straight away so that it could be placed on display safely for everyone to enjoy (as it is now), rather than have them spend years trying to recover it. The Blue Hope diamond is said to be cursed anyway so I would give away all the bad luck!

That's a tough one. It belongs in a museum somewhere, but my family deserves to move up in life. I would get it authenticated and sell it to a museum of the highest bid. Then, both happens.

If I was old as dirt like the lady I would throw it into the ocean. Otherwise sell it to a museum, that is where you would get the most money for it.
