A rott, a pitt, a golden retriever or a german shepperd and i would like some more ideas on different kinds of dogs, it doesnt have to be them. Oh and a dog that is not an ankle dog, one that is pretty much to your hips or higher than the knees.

i think pitts are awesome they are not an ankle dog and they are not boring like other dogs.i go with the pitt.
uncooked meat, organs and bone eating ordinary. I as quickly as placed 2 bowls down, one with uncooked meat in and the different a grain loose prosperous in fish kibble, and it shot forward in direction of the beef, conserving a million/2 a watch on the different bowl, which it would thankfully consume 2d.
Of course I love all dogs but if I had to choose one, it would be a Lhasa Apso (I used to have one) because they're cuddly, cute, smart, alert, & protective with a deep bark from a small hairy mop of a body.
It depends what you want the dog to do. Golden retriever is a good choice. They're a great company.
They could adapt to living in a small apartment.
They are easily trained, and enjoy pleasing their masters. They do really well in obedience competitions. They're really friendly with everyone including other dogs, and they're quarrelsomeless. They're also good watchdogs, who loudly signal a stranger's approach. They're good at hunting, retrieving, agility, competitive obedience, and performing tricks.
Golden retriever is a very good friend to accompany people. You'll never be bored with it. They work really well with kids as well.
Personally, I prefer shelties. but, as with any dog, their personalities are not always the same and may/may not match yours.
My parents had a chihuahua, and I couldn't stand him, but they loved him.
My Teddy is good with me, travels, is clean, loves to give and receive affection, is sensitive to my moods, gives 100% love and only asks to be loved, given a clean and comfortable home, and is nurtured and respected in return. He is an inside/outside dog, is very protective of me, yet loving.
My only objection is that he does bark, but that is a Sheltie tradition, and I don't want to change him. Ive had him since a puppy. I went to the breeder's home, met his mom & dad, and sat in the kitchen with 6 pups for over an hour, until Teddy "chose" me.
I suggest you meet the breeder, the parents, if possible, and allow the dog to choose you.
Personally, I suggst you avoid 'puppy mills.'

The golden retriever makes a wonderful pet. There's one thing to remember though. Until about 2 years old, this kind of dog eats strange things like drywall, linoleum, rugs, wood trim. Because this dog is so intelligent and gets bored easily, don't own one if it is going to be left alone a lot. Absolutely wonderful with children.

How about a good one...one that loves you unconditionally. Even if you just yelled at it because you had a bad day at work or a fight with your mom. How about a dog that will give it's life for you because you're in real danger. Or how about a dog that will hang around you all the time and not ditch you because there's been a better offer. What about a pet that will give you lots of kisses on your face even though you have nasty bad breath because you haven't brushed your teeth yet!
So....does it really matter what kind of dog he is?! The main thing is that he's devoted to just you!! God did good when he made the canine breed. :)
A golden - the most friendly and pretty smart, too
I had a black lab until- it got into a neighbor's rat poison! i am not sure if it was an acident or put out for the puppies! I want another one! They are such smart dogs! bye God Bless You!
my favorite out of those is golden retriever. but my all time favorite(i have 2) is chocolate lab and saint Bernard. we had a short haired dry mouth saint Bernard. if you go with a st Bernard get that kind. they don't drool as much. still shed though. the lab is good because they are easy to train. good luck in your hunt for your dog
Personally i love golden retrievers because they are fun, loveable, and very athletic!
