besides the actual undeniable actuality that we use "jap" to describe both the language and race in English, Japan has 2 different words for it. jap as contained in the language: ??? ???? nihongo "I communicate jap" : ?????????????? (Watashi wa NIHONGO wo hanashi masu) ??(??? Nihon) skill Japan. The kanji personality "?"(? bypass) is used to describe language ??(Japan) +? (language)= ???(nihongo) jap as in someone: ??? ????? nihonjin "he's jap" : ????????? (kare wa NIHONJIN desu) ?? (??? Nihon) skill Japan. ?(?? Jin) skill individual. ??? (Japan) + ? (individual)= ??? (nihonjin)

occasionally you'll see the borrowed English word Paaku (park), but you should really use kouen instead.
