Implication of Acne On Back?

Back Acne (Or "bacne" as many affectionately call it) can be caused by hormones, shampoos and conditioners, or sweat.

You can prevent this kind of acne by showering after strenuous activity, and rinsing your hair in the shower to the side instead of letting the shampoo and conditioner run down your back if you have long hair. Loofahs or other scrubby bath tools can also get some of the dead skin up.

Not any more significant than acne anywhere else on the body in my opinion. As a life long acne sufferer, I have had it occur on my skin just about everywhere! However, being that you can't inspect your back easily, you need to make sure that it heals and is not a cancerous growth that your misinterpreting as an acne lesion.

Generally it means that you are an identical twin and your twin is suffering from lonliness. Why it causes acne on the back has been a mystery for years.

Check with dermatologist. There's always a chance that it is staph, too. Especially nowadays with staph so prevalent. It is easy to fix, cuz it is not the MRSA one (flesh-eating) and so antibiotics and antibiotic ointments help a lot. And if it isn't staph, you will still be glad you saw the dermatologist, b/c there is so much they can do to help cure, reduce the appearance of acne.

I had heard that it can be caused by glands over producing oil because your skin is dry.
Beleive it or not I started using lotion and a mosturizing soap and that fixed it up.

Sun and screw proactive, just use some fresh aloe vera, but dont let your back burn, but sun dries it out, aloe draws it out, so just kick back and tan. It goes away with age anyway, but why wait.

your oil glands are over acting try it by using a special soap or creme..

like you have it? Try some proactive back there. Or if it is a guy and in sports, steriods? Hard to tell... Summer usually helps with the sun and the swimming.
