How much time do you spend on Yahoo! Answers?

i have just joined today and have 116 points ...i think will more likely spend around 1-2 hours a day and i liked the sections internet and love and romance the most...

It depends. Perhaps about 10 on average.

Less than 1 on average.

The categories I like to answer questions in most are pictured at [1]. They are my favourites for the following reasons.

* Yahoo! Answers: Australia
I am Australian! Thus, I know lots about the country and other important stuff. I also sent all my international friends Vegemite for Christmas. You can't get more Australian than that!

* Yahoo! Answers: Etiquette
I believe that I was brought up with good moral values and manners. Etiquette, therefore, is a category that I just cannot ignore.

* Yahoo! Answers: Health & Well-Being
I love to keep my mind and body in good health. Sure, I might not be a doctor, sports specialist, or whatever, but I feel I can still provide valuable perspective from someone who generally likes to take care of himself.

* Yahoo! Answers: Internet
I have a degree in Arts Multimedia. The Internet is therefore a huge part of what I do.

* Yahoo! Answers: Mental Health
There's a strong history of mental illness in certain areas of my family life. It's basically over ten years of experience that I put towards the questions I answer in this category.

* Yahoo! Answers: Music & Music Players
First, I'm a drummer. I have been for over ten years. Of course I don't play that much nowadays, but from what I have played I can draw on experiences of playing live gigs, recording songs, and so on. With players, though, I believe I can also share some good knowledge. Perhaps that comes with the territory of being computer literate. I mean most of this stuff is common sense anyway.

Again, I'm a computer user from way back. I'm well capable of recommending various programs for whatever the task might be.

I'm not as active in this category as what I should be. I think perhaps this is because a lot of the questions aren't modern enough for my knowledge. Would it be fair to say that the questions are not arty enough? Anyway, I guess I should really try harder on these questions. Thanks for making me thinking of it!

I love this category. Well, it's good if you filter out most of the junk (e.g. I just lost two points. Why?). You'll also find that I contribute quite a lot to this category. Some of my more recent questions (suggestions) can be found at [2] and [3].

So, that's me in a nutshell. Is there any other categories that I should perhaps check out though?

When I'm taking a break from working I flip through here and there. So I'm on for about 1 hour maybe 2 a day. My points are at 2,085 or 2,087 after this question. I like all categories. I have only asked 2 questions. I like reading other peoples questions. Some are very funny!!! They can cheer me up so I can go back to the ole grid shone.

i just started using it 3 days ago and i have 300 points i am addicted. 2 to three hours a day.

on and off about 8 hrs a day.. I work on the computer all night long so I just flip back and forth..

some days I dont ask anything others up to 5 q's

I spend way too much time on Yahoo! Answers, maybe 90 minutes a day split up into little sections. I have 3,110 points, and I answer about 15 questions a day. Sometimes less, sometimes way more. I rarely ask a question. I like the Religious questions the most because of how huffy puffy people get about 'em. :-)
