Can you get electricity from plants?

I know that plants make more energy than just to live- is there a way out there to harness that extra energy and does anyone know how that happens? And even if you don't, do you know any information on instances where it's been done?

Not a whole lot... but I can see how. Fluid in some plants can be electrolytic.

don' think so. how much electricity do you want.
two different metals, an electrolyte(like sodium nitrate) can already have current

yes but its so little a current that it is not worth the hassle of trying to harness i dont think all the worlds plant or any life for that matter would ammount to even a single volt.im thinking bioelectric current is exact for each organizim and its biorythmes would cease if it was tamperd with
