I had leg cramps and sometimes I couldn't sleep because of untimely cramps. Some said lack of potassium(I ate bananas),
some said lack blood flow(lack of oxygen) I tried to keep my legs down and relaxed too much and tried hot pack (it helped a lil but cramps were there). Some said that I haved pulled a muscle but I didn't.

It was a pinched nerve. Sometimes you stretch your legs while lying in the bed and it started after I stretched. Use a small ball and roll over your leg where you feel pain. Not too much though. I used a massager (which vibrates real fast)just when cramps occur.

I haven't had any cramps for more than a year and didn't need to use the massager as well.

Um, how's your potassium intake? Low electrolytes may reason leg cramps, and that i imagine dehydration can too. Um, likely extra stuff. i'd bypass purchase a gatoraid and drink it some hrs before mattress, and per chance devour a banana with it. See if that works. in the journey that they bypass away, it likely grow to be eletrolytes

the reason is not known, but I am sure Nocturnal leg cramps is different from accumulation of latic acid
probably heredity, probably nerves disorder that cause sudden involuntary actions.

usually involuntary actions are beneficial or cause no harm to body, but for this, I have no idea as it caused an impact.

maybe this is one of the character of homo sapien:

Dehyrdration or lack of potassium. Drink more water, eat bananas or take potassium pills.

Here's an article about a solution I've read about several times. You might want to try it! It's about putting a bar of soap under the sheet at night. Weird I know, but people swear by this!

Leg cramp means lack of oxygen passing through your muscles- meaning that the muscles are tighting. The man said lack of calcium that could be true but it associates with oxygen flowing through the body. You need to expand your legs and let it rest for a while and inhale and exhale - it'll gradually loosen.

There's different reasons. It could be growing pains, or that you don't exercise enough.

The cause of a leg cramp is usually not getting enough calcium. The muscle in your sural will then begin to push in.

Well, when your muscles don't get oxygen, fermentation occurs- this process produces acid which then burns your muslces!
