No -- he attended grammar school, and thus was better educated than most of his day. He did not attend university, which was less rare then (though not unheard of today.) He was famously described as having "little Latin, less Greek" which gives you an idea of his level of education -- not too many grammar school students these days have any Latin or Greek.

Was Shakespeare, uneducated? - no, he did attend grammar school in Stratford, which is more than most of his day could boast.

But, as there is no record of him attending school beyond this, by today's standards he would be considered uneducated.

So, the answer then would be... no, Shakespeare is not uneducated, but yes, he did have little education.
